Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients during admission and throughout their stay, administering IV medications/therapy/blood as needed, providing patient education, and documenting nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and therapies, including IVs and blood products.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the care process.
• Document nursing care actions, observations, and patient responses accurately.
• Assist in charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department setting.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 1+ year of critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Must not have any hits/actions on License/Background.
• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility.
