Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the patient care team responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process within the Emergency Department. This position requires assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay, administering IV medications and therapies as needed, providing patient education, and documenting nursing care actions, teachings, observations, and patient responses.

• Assess and evaluate patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood as required.
• Provide patient and family education on health and discharge planning.
• Document nursing care actions and patient responses accurately.
• Take charge nurse and preceptor roles when necessary.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification are mandatory.
• Candidates must not have any hits/actions on their nursing license/background.

This position requires working nights from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This is a 13-week contract position.
