Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department setting.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year critical care nursing experience required.
• Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay.
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed.
• Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses.
• Be willing and able to assume charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
• The facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
