Registered Nurse

Marshwood Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehab facility in South Portland, ME, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver resident-centered care. The RN will complete assessments, administer medications and treatments, oversee CNAs, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to support short-term rehab, long-term, and memory care residents. Responsibilities include care planning, monitoring changes in condition, communicating with families, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care for short-term rehab, long-term, and memory care residents
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per provider orders
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Supervise and support CNAs and other support staff
• Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Educate residents and families on care plans and health conditions
