Overview
Registered Nurse, LTC travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,939 per week to $2,046 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: Day shift, 7:00 am–7:00 pm (3x12-hour days). Work setting: hospital-based units including Alzheimer’s/dementia care, transitional rehabilitation, and long-term care.

- Orientation:
Up to 16 hours unpaid - Travel assignment status:
Temporary travel assignment
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents on assigned units (including 3 East, a dementia-focused 31-bed unit; Transitional Rehabilitation Unit on the second floor; and 3 West, a 42-bed long-term care unit)
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, monitor vitals, administer medications, manage IV therapy and wound care, and support geriatric assessment and management
- Collaborate with LPN partners and interdisciplinary care team; document care, progress notes, and care plans in the chart; ensure continuity of care
- Monitor for changes in resident condition, respond promptly, escalat as needed, and uphold safety and infection control standards
- Communicate with residents and families; provide education and discharge planning support as appropriate
- Maintain flexibility to float to other units as needed and adapt to 12-hour day shift coverage
- Active RN license in Maine or a compact state
- Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing - Experience:
1–3 years of prior RN experience - Skills:
Medical terminology preferred; strong teamwork and communication abilities - Eligibility:
Ability to work in a hospital-based LTC environment; flexibility to cover 24/7 shifts and float as needed - Residency:
Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the assignment location - Note:
Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
- Orientation:
Up to 16 hours unpaid - Assignment duration: 13 weeks
- Travel assignment support as part of a temporary assignment program
- Contract terms allow the facility to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
