Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse

Marshwood Center, a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in South Portland, ME, is seeking a Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse. In this role, you will provide direct, resident-centered care across multiple units, including short-term rehab, long-term care, and memory care. Responsibilities include medication administration, treatments, documentation, and supporting individualized care plans while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents across multiple units (rehab, long-term care, memory care)
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policies
• Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition using EMR systems
• Participate in developing and implementing individualized care plans
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and CNAs to support resident goals
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Educate residents and families on care, treatments, and health conditions
• Support orientation and mentoring of new staff as needed
• Respond promptly to resident needs, call lights, and emergencies
• Float between units based on census and acuity needs
