We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible in the Lewiston and the surrounding areas.
We are actively seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Certified Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, experienced in properly handling and restraining animals, knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understands the importance of client education, able to confidently dispense and administer medication prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member.
This individual will be required to work at both of our clinics. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and we encourage our staff to do the same. Schedule:
4-day work week with rotating Saturday mornings
Requirements:
* ** Credentialed Veterinary Technician,
** license must be current in the state of Minnesota
* 2+ years of prior veterinary experience
* Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
* Cornerstone knowledge is a plus
* Confidently and comfortably restrain animals
* Knowledge of surgical prep, monitoring, and recovery
* Compassionate and caring toward our clients and their pets
* Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
* Multi-task efficiently
* Understand the importance of client education
