Salary: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
- Starting hourly pay rate is $16.00 – $18.00, depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training: live instruction and virtual classroom training.
- Voluntary benefits for part‑time employees, including medical, dental, vision, etc.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- Weekly hours 5–10, variable schedule.
- Availability required before and after major holidays, including weekends.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory; communicate with supervisor; respond to surveys; interact professionally with store staff and customers; responsible for entire Hallmark display.
- Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours during holiday peaks; may work on actual holidays or weekends.
- Department resets: Participate in fixture installation, product relocations, and department resets; notified two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: Support other merchandisers as needed across territories.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally; kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day; climb stairs and ladders as needed; work on floor and in back stockrooms.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum age 18.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Physical ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital handheld device.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores.
Part‑time employees with less than 30 hours of work per week are eligible for voluntary benefits including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
