Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associate plays a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, supporting customers and employees in a high‑impact retail setting.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments—including photo and beauty—ensuring they are fully stocked, operational, and current with services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• Minimum age: 16 years.
• Physical requirements:
  
  remain upright on the feet for sustained periods; lift and exert up to 35lbs occasionally, up to 10lbs frequently, and light force regularly; overhead lifting as required.
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity sufficient to view a computer terminal, read, and perform visual inspection of small parts or details.
• Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and customer service.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Part time. Pay Range: $16.90 – $23.90 per hour.
