Pest Control Technician

Waltham Pest Services is looking for a Technician with a salary range of $22.00/hour to $28.00/hour, plus unlimited commission opportunities. • Apply knowledge learned and retained through training to help residential and commercial customers with their pest control issues.
• Inspect attics, crawlspaces, and the interiors and exteriors of homes or businesses in our area.
• Identify and recognize opportunities to sell additional services or equipment.
• Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to clients.
• Consult with sales reps and leaders to provide estimates for maintenance service requirements or costs.

• No experience required – we’ll train you.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required).
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check (required).
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route‑based assignments, and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes.

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
