NFI North Intermission Program is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our program in Lewiston, Maine. This program is a residential treatment program providing transitional services to seven homeless young adults within the Lewiston Area. The program provides transitional housing and essential services to support successful independent living. Supportive services include Daily Living Support Services, Skills Development Services, and Community Integration Services.

Responsibilities
  • Employee scheduling
  • Supervising the counseling staff
  • Coordinating participants’ appointments
  • On‑call responsibilities
  • Overseeing food preparation
  • Overall coordination of daily programming
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working with adults living with mental health challenges
  • Flexibility, high energy, creativity, computer proficiency, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate a positive working and living atmosphere
  • Excellent organizational and decision‑making skills
  • Professional boundaries and an active personality to engage youth in sports, activities, and life skills
  • Ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise decision making

Education
  • Associate’s degree or better
