** Sports, Inc. is seeking a
** Credit & Collections Representative
** to join its Finance team. This is an opportunity to take on a varied role that goes well beyond traditional collections. You'll work directly with dealers, help resolve account issues, assist new dealers as they get started, and play an important role in keeping financial operations running smoothly.

** What You'll Do
*** Review credit applications, payment histories, financial information, and trade references
* Communicate with dealers regarding outstanding balances and payment commitments
* Research payments, credits, deductions, disputes, and account discrepancies
* Process new accounts and help dealers through the transition process
* Maintain accurate records of account activity and collection efforts
* Prepare reports on aging balances, collection progress, and high-risk accounts
* Assist with accounts receivable reporting, banking, and payment application
* Request and process dealer financial statements
* Maintain dealer documentation and UCC-1 filings
* Work with dealers and suppliers regarding sales tax exemptions
* Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
* Serve as a liaison for new dealers and provide support across the Finance team

The position combines credit review, collections, accounts receivable, reporting, dealer support, and financial account management.

** You'll be a strong fit if you're detail-oriented, comfortable handling collection conversations, and able to approach problems with sound judgment and professionalism. Strong customer service and communication skills are important, as you'll regularly work with dealers, vendors, employees, and others.

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field is preferred. Knowledge of finance procedures, basic to intermediate math skills, Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience with Net Suite or other accounting software are also preferred.
