Job Summary:
The RN Surgical Services - Circulating & Recovery Room provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. The role involves supporting the surgical team through circulating duties and patient recovery management to ensure safe and effective care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer circulating and recovery nurse services within the operating room.
- Assist the surgical team in various capacities according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients for scheduled procedures and evaluate their condition throughout their stay.
- Provide direct patient care, monitor outcomes, and adjust nursing interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists and healthcare team members to optimize patient safety and recovery.
- Support recovery room patient care by monitoring vital signs and patient comfort levels.
- Hold a valid RN license in Montana.
- Be CPR certified at the Healthcare Provider level.
- Possess ACLS certification.
- Demonstrate experience or training in perioperative nursing or surgical services.
- Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Maintain excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
