RN Surgical Services – Circulating & Recovery Room

The RN Surgical Services – Circulating & Recovery Room provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. The role involves supporting the surgical team, preparing patients, and managing recovery to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide circulating nurse services during surgical procedures to maintain sterile environment and patient safety.
• Monitor and assess patients in the recovery room, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Assist surgical team members with procedure setup, patient positioning, and instrumentation.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and consult with specialists to modify care plans accordingly.
• Prepare patients for scheduled surgeries by reviewing medical histories and educating them on procedures.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Montana.
• Valid CPR certification at Healthcare Provider level.
• ACLS certification required.
• Proven experience in operating room or perioperative nursing preferred.
• Strong ability to assess patient needs and respond quickly to changing conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
