Med-surg Adult

Position Overview

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Night Shift) provides integrated, holistic nursing care to a predominantly adult patient population, with rare pediatric care as needed. This role coordinates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care and family education in full compliance with Montana and National Nurse Practice Acts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, high-quality nursing care focused on the immediate and priority health needs of each patient.
• Partner with patients and their families to provide education that promotes active participation, recovery, and long-term health maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to execute individualized care plans.
• Practice in accordance with and exceed all professional standards outlined by Montana and National Nurse Practice Acts.
• Maintain clinical readiness for night-shift Med/Surg operations, primarily serving adult patients with occasional pediatric coverage.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program/college.
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Shift: Night Shift.
