American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Med Surg position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and the ability to float to Med Surg.
Requirements- Active Montana RN license or compact license required
- Minimum 3 years of experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
- Experience in Labor & Delivery required
- Med Surg floating capability required
- Primarily works as an OB RN in Labor & Delivery with required floating to the Med Surg floor when OB is closed
- Day shift schedule with (3) 12-hour shifts per week
- 13-week assignment
- Monitors maternal and fetal well-being and manages labor progression
- Assists with deliveries and responds to obstetric emergencies
- Administers medications and interprets fetal monitoring strips
- Performs cervical exams within scope of practice
- Prepares patients for operative deliveries
- Provides postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
