A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Fixed Asset Accounting Manager to join a fast-paced and growth-oriented organization in the real estate development space. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration at the Lewisville, TX location.

About the Role:

This position is ideal for a detail-driven accounting professional with a strong command of asset lifecycle management and financial reporting. The Fixed Asset Accounting Manager will lead a high-performing team and oversee all aspects of asset accounting—from acquisitions and disposals to reconciliations and month-end close activities. The role demands a proactive mindset, leadership experience, and a passion for process optimization.

Key Functions:

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Lead month-end close processes related to asset accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Guide and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering collaboration and performance.
  • Collaborate with departments such as procurement, operations, and accounts payable to ensure data integrity.
  • Support audit processes and contribute to policy enhancements based on evolving regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, including 4+ years focused on fixed assets.
  • Proven leadership with at least 2 years of team management.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and asset accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and asset subledger tools.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
