Bookkeeper/Jr. Controller

GPAC is currently assisting a growing and stable client with their search for a Bookkeeper/Accountant. This is a Commercial Roofing company that has been in business for over 15 years and has just had their long-time bookkeeper put in her two week notice. This individual will be responsible for accounting operations and more within the company.

Bookkeeper/Accountant Responsibilities:

• Planning, directing, and coordinating accounting operational functions
• Annual budgeting and forecasting
• Month end closing responsibilities
• Preparation of financial statements
• Work with auditors
• Work closely with leadership team
• Ensure compliance

Bookkeeper/Accountant Background Requirements:

• Quick Books Desktop Experience
• Job Cost Accounting Experience
• Paychex or similar paryroll software experience
• B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or related field, OR
• Credentials of a CPA (preferred)
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience
• Experience working win Construction world is preferred
• Strong financial management and business acumen
