- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Assist with month‑end close procedures.
- Prepare journal entries and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries for intercompany accounting transactions.
- Contribute to the monthly reporting process.
- Assist in special projects, ad‑hoc analyses, and other initiatives as required by the finance team.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications- 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience in US GAAP.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or directly related work experience.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 or a similar ERP system.
- Manufacturing accounting experience.
