Job Duties

- Performs month end close processes for multiple lines of business including journal entries, accruals, and P& L analysis

- Reconciles balance sheet accounts

- Prepares planned and ad-hoc reports

- Reviews financial data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance

- Work with other teams and departments to enhance processes, adjust to the needs of the business, and problem solve

- Excellent customer service to field operations teammates

- Review staff journal entries and support staff as needed

- Makes recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities

- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skill/Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

- Eligible to sit for CPA or parts passed

- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience

- Ability to analyze, research and solve problems

- Excellent written and oral communication/interaction skills

- Strong excel skills

- Proven ability to systematically enhance processes and drive improvements

- Ability to receive and respond to performance feedback effectively

- Experience in Workday GL or other large ERP systems is a plus

- Ability to adapt to changing operational needs in a rapidly growing environment

- Skilled in organization, prioritization, time-management and attention to detail
