SSC Signs & Lighting, LLC is a national design, fabrication and installation sign company headquartered in DFW, Texas. We currently have an opening for an experienced and motivated Accountant. This position will be an integral part of the AP team within the accounting department.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Evaluate, process, and review invoices received by vendors for accuracy, job cost coding and contractual required supporting documentation
  • Provide the project team with support for change order management
  • Work with accounting team to develop and provide job costing reporting to executive leadership
  • Monitor financial controls and procedures
  • Manage ACH, Wires and check payments
  • Assess invoicing documents accuracy and completeness, tracking down missing or correct data when necessary
  • Assist with purchase orders as necessary
  • Reconciliations for month end close
  • Support other ad hoc activities as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or 4 plus years of equivalent work experience
  • Construction and/or manufacturing environment preferred but not required
  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience is a must
  • ERP systems knowledge a plus
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
  • Strong efficiency with all Microsoft Office products (advanced Excel preferred)
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team
  • Professionalism, positivity, and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity
