We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Engineering industry. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will play a vital role in our financial department. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing our AP/AR functions, maintaining our general ledger, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This role demands a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a knack for numbers.

• Manage all aspects of AP, AR, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Conduct regular ledger reconciliation.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes.
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and general ledger.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
