Senior Analyst – SEC Reporting

Compensation: $110,000–$115,000+ eligibility to earn a bonus

Our client is adding a Senior Analyst – SEC Reporting to its Corporate Accounting team in Lewisville, TX. This is a newly created, growth role ideal for someone coming from public accounting and/or SEC reporting who wants to move in-house, increase exposure to leadership, and grow toward a future SEC Reporting Manager path.

• Support preparation and filing of 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, earnings releases, proxy materials, and other external reporting deliverables.
• Assist with technical accounting research and drafting memos under U.S. GAAP.
• Partner cross-functionally with teams such as FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and operational accounting.
• Support audit and compliance needs, including elements of SOX/internal controls (as applicable)
• Help drive process improvements and take ownership of key reporting work streams over time.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• SEC reporting / external reporting exposure, including financial statement preparation and disclosures.
• Strong U.S. GAAP foundation and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work confidently with stakeholders across the business.
• Ability to manage deadlines and perform well during quarterly/annual reporting cycles.

• CPA strongly preferred (licensed is ideal; may consider actively pursuing and near completion)
• Background in public accounting (Big 4 or strong regional firm) and/or public-company reporting.
• Exposure to 10-K / 10-Q preparation.
• Experience with SOX, technical accounting memos, M&A/business combinations, and/or SEC reporting tools (XBRL/software) is a plus.
• Industry exposure to construction/infrastructure/energy/utilities is helpful but not required.
