Job Title:
Service Dispatcher – On‑site Position
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Job SummaryThe Service Dispatcher will collaborate closely with the Dispatch Team, the Service Administration Manager, Service Managers, and other department leaders to align scheduling, dispatching processes, and operational goals. This role is critical for organizing day‑to‑day scheduling operations and ensuring accurate dispatch processes to support the Service Department’s responsibilities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Coordinate with Dispatch team, Service Administration Manager and Service Managers to ensure efficient scheduling and dispatching of HVAC technicians.
- Assist in running reports and maintaining updated information.
- Handle day‑to‑day dispatching and coordination of startup work and service calls.
- Ensure all dispatch processes and workflows are up to date and compliant with company standards.
- Answer the phone line and set up call requests.
- Regularly review dispatch processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work with the Service Administration Manager to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of startup dispatch processes.
- Participate in department meetings as requested.
- Perform additional assignments as requested and maintain a teamwork attitude.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in dispatching, preferably in HVAC or a service‑oriented industry.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills and abilities.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks.
