We are seeking a dependable and organized Mailroom Supervisor to support our Facility Manager and ensure smooth daily operations at our Frisco site. In this role, you will oversee work orders, supervise direct reports, and manage in‑house facility and office tasks. Occasional travel to the Irving site (one to two times per week) may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Facility Manager by ensuring accurate and timely completion of all work orders.
- Manage in‑house work order tasks including conference room setup and take down, event setup support, weekly conference room maintenance, fixture key management and delivery, workstation and office furniture adjustments, nameplate creation and delivery, posting and removal of campus signage, recycling management, and light handy work.
- Order supplies, maintain par levels, and monitor expiration dates of perishables.
- Stock mailrooms and kitchen pantries, manage mailroom shipping and receiving operations, ensure same‑day delivery of incoming mail and packages, and same‑day preparation of outgoing mail and packages.
- Deliver weekly and monthly mailroom metrics.
- Maintain facility team storage areas and provide oversight to MDF/IDF rooms to ensure they are free of excess materials.
- Strong communication skills and ability to supervise and instruct direct subordinates.
- Basic understanding of operating instructions and processes for office machines, and ability to quickly learn company locations and organizational structure.
- Basic understanding of postage rates and regulations, ability to correctly sort and distribute large volumes of mail, and ability to follow written and oral instructions while completing projects efficiently.
Experience supervising direct reports is required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and traverse office facilities to pick up and deliver mail.
