Medical Director or DVM Working Partner → Vested Co-Owner

Private Practice Freedom — Without Initial Capital Investment

Lewisville North Animal Clinic is a privately owned small-animal practice seeking an experienced veterinarian (3+ years preferred) to step into a Medical Director–level leadership role with a structured pathway to working partnership and vested co-ownership.

Our philosophy is straightforward:

Exceptional patient care and strong client relationships create sustainable growth. Sustainable growth supports a healthy, thriving business.

We believe high-quality medicine and sound business principles are not opposing forces — they are complementary.

THE OPPORTUNITY
  • Autonomy in medical decision-making
  • A leadership voice in operations and culture
  • Transparency in financial performance
  • A clear pathway toward ownership without upfront capital risk

We are building a practice that balances clinical excellence with operational strength — where ethical growth supports long-term stability and opportunity.

COMPENSATION & PARTNERSHIP STRUCTURE

This is a balanced model that provides stability while rewarding contribution:

  • Average Base salary
  • Production-based incentives
  • Profit participation tied to overall performance
  • Structured vesting schedule toward equity ownership
  • No upfront buy-in required

Financial growth reflects:

  • Strong medical standards
  • Effective case management
  • Thoughtful client communication
  • Operational efficiency
  • Responsible expansion of services

A successful practice must be both medically excellent and financially sound. This role embraces both responsibilities.

EQUITY VESTING

Ownership is earned over time through measurable leadership and performance.

Equity consideration is based on:

  • Clinical quality and consistency
  • Team leadership and mentorship
  • Operational improvements
  • Contribution to revenue growth and profitability
  • Achievement of mutually defined goals

This structure allows you to experience the rewards of ownership without assuming initial financial debt or capital investment.

SCHEDULE & WORK MODEL

Flexible scheduling
Choice of working days and hours part time or full time hours
Outcome-oriented expectations

This is a professional partnership. Accountability and results matter, but you maintain control over how you structure your time.
