Now Hiring:
Senior Substation Estimator
Location:
Lewisville, TX
Salary: $120K - $160K
Experience:
8+ years
- Develop detailed cost estimates for substation construction (greenfield, expansions, upgrades)
- Review drawings, specs, and RFPs to build accurate scopes and takeoffs
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams
- Evaluate labor, material, and subcontractor pricing
- Support bid strategy, risk analysis, and value engineering
- 8+ years of estimating experience, with a focus on substations or power infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage components (transformers, breakers, grounding, etc.)
- Understanding of construction methods, productivity, and cost drivers
- Experience working on utility style projects
- Proficiency with estimating tools and Microsoft Office
- Be part of building and maintaining critical energy infrastructure
- Work with a safety-first, field-driven team
