Aboutthe Role
The Sales Engineerservesasatechnicalresourcewithinthe Sales Department ,supportingthesaleteamandcustomersbyprovidingengineeringexpertiseduringthequoting,specification,andprojectdevelopmentphases.
Thisrolebridgesthegapbetweensales,engineering,andmanufacturingbyensuringthatcustomerrequirementsareaccuratelytranslatedintotechnicallysoundandcompetitivesolutions.
- Developacomprehensiveunderstandingofthecompany'ssalesprocess,quotingsystems,andproposaldevelopmentprocedures.
- Assistthesalesteaminpreparingaccurateprojectquotations,includingscopeevaluation,pricing,andtechnicalconfiguration.
- Performdetailedprojecttake-offsandassistindevelopingprojectbudgetsandequipmentselections.
- ConductCD&E'sonopportunitiesbroughtbythesalesteam.
- Mayberesponsibleforgeneratingquotesfromtimetotime.
- Supporton Moonshot Energyprojectsrelatedtomodulardatacenter AIbuilds.
- Providetechnicalsupporttothesalesteamthroughoutthepre-saleandproposalprocess.
- Assistwithproductconfiguration,systemdesignconsiderations,andequipmentselectiontoensuresolutionsmeetcustomerrequirementsandapplicablestandards.
- Utilizemanufacturerresources,configurators,andtechnicaldocumentationfromsupplierssuchas
Siemens,ABB,and Schneider
Electrictodevelopaccuratesolutions.
- Workcloselywiththeengineeringteamtoexpandproductknowledgeandmaintainalignmentbetweenproposedsolutionsandmanufacturingcapabilities.
- Supportinternalengineeringeffortsbyassistingwithtechnicalreviews,documentation,andprojectclarificationduringthesalescycle.
- Workwith Moonshot'sR&Dteamtohelpquoteanddesignnewproducts/product lines.
- Developastrongunderstandingofthecompany'sproductofferingsandelectricaldistributionequipment.
- GainworkingknowledgeofUL
891standardsandcompliancerequirementsapplicabletoswitchboardsandrelatedequipment. - Continuouslybuildexpertiseinsupplierproductlines,configurations,andtechnicalspecifications.
- Bachelor’sdegreein
Mechanical Engineeringorarelatedtechnicalfield - 3-5yearsofengineeringexperience;priorsalesexperienceisaplusbutnotrequired
- Strongtechnicalaptitudeandtheabilitytolearnandexplaincomplexproductstodiverseaudiences
- Excellent communication,presentation,andinterpersonalskills
- Detail-orientedwithacommitmenttodeliveringthoroughandaccurateproposalsanddocumentation
- Self-motivated,collaborative,andeagertogrowinahigh-performancesalesenvironment
- Help Buildthe Infrastructure Behind AI:Helpdevelopanddelivertheelectricaldistributionsolutionsbehindhigh-performanceAIanddatacenterenvironments,
