About the Organization

Point Bank has been an independent, locally‑owned community bank serving Denton County, Texas since 1884 - over 135 years! Currently, we have nine branches conveniently located throughout Denton County. We, at Point Bank, would like to invite you to use our banking services, as well as consider joining our team of dedicated employees! Solicit, promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of products of the bank. Contribute to the bank's growth by the effective sale of bank services outside Point Bank premises to new and existing customers with emphasis on courteous and professional service.

This position is classified as Exempt under the Outside Sales Exemption of the FLSA.

• Grow the bank's commercial loan and deposit portfolio to meet bank goals and objectives.
• Service customers within existing personal portfolio.
• Develop new customer relationships through personal marketing efforts.

• Target, solicit, and secure commercial loan deals outside of Point Bank premises to meet personal production and overall bank goals.
• Input and update status of all leads and working customers into CRM to track progress and performance.
• Handle large and complex real estate loans, including investments, development, and construction loans.
• Obtain all required documentation from the customer and perform credit and underwriting analysis needed to prepare a complete loan request package in accordance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.
• Verify loan documents are complete and accurate according to policy.
• Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of loan originations, fee income, and selling of all bank products and services.
• Approve loans within loan policy guidelines and up to amounts allowed in lending authority limits.
• Ensure approved loans are processed, closed and funded expeditiously.
• Monitor existing portfolio to ensure proper risk rating and identify any potential problems.
• Monitor loan maturity report and prepare renewals if needed.
• Monitor past‑due loan report and contact customers for payment.
• Monitor loan ticklers/exceptions reports and contact customers for needed financial information, insurance or other items for loan covenant monitoring.
• Process and approve loan modification and collateral substitution requests.
• Perform loan monitoring duties including site visits, construction monitoring, draw requests, etc.
• Promote a positive image for Point Bank and its employees in the community through events and networking.
• Be fully cross‑trained in all Banker and Teller duties to assist branch staff and customers whenever needed.
• Attend all meetings and complete all regulatory compliance training required.
• Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations, BSA/AML/OFAC policies, and participate in required training.
• Provide suggestions to improve branch/department operations and overall bank efficiency.
• Perform other duties and assignments within the bank as requested by management.

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
• At least 8 years of experience in commercial lending or a related area.

• Full‑time position based in Lewisville, TX.
• Shift: Days.
• Required cross‑training in Banker and Teller functions.
