Reporting to the VP, Business Finance, this role partners directly with DCC operational leaders to improve cost per unit, throughput productivity, labor and material efficiency, and inventory integrity through data-driven insights, standardized operating rhythms, and continuous improvement.

This role influences strategic outcomes through execution-informed insight and tradeoff recommendations, specific to the DCC location. It ensures those priorities are operationally executable, identifies constraints and risks early, and drives course correction through strong cross-functional leadership.

Operational & Strategic Finance Leadership – 30%
  • Serve as the primary onsite finance leader embedded within the assigned DCC location (Nashville or Lewisville).
  • Participate in daily/weekly operating rhythms and leadership forums where priorities, tradeoffs, and execution decisions are made.
  • Influence strategic outcomes by translating real‑time operational performance into clear recommendations on prioritization, sequencing, and course correction.
  • Support New Business growth opportunities by providing site‑level cost, capacity, and execution feasibility inputs to inform investment decisions.
Performance Management & KPI Operating System – 20%
  • Monitor production metrics, throughput, and cost per unit to ensure optimal output and resource utilization.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to DCC efficiency, labor utilization, and material costs; lead structured performance reviews that drive accountability and follow through.
  • Present site performance updates with actionable insights for operational and finance leadership.
  • Surface risks and opportunities early, connecting operational performance to strategic objectives.
  • Develop site‑level labor and expense assumptions and inputs with DCC leadership and provide risks/opportunities in the planning and outlook processes.
Unit Economics, Cost Transparency & Decision Support – 15%
  • Analyze overhead charges and cost allocations with site leadership to ensure transparency and accuracy; review and validate key drivers.
  • Partner with site leaders to analyze cost per unit trends and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cost transparency and unit economics analysis with site leadership, including overhead drivers and operational cost levers.
  • Develop and maintain cost models and scenario analyses to support decisions across speed, cost, quality, and risk.
Inventory Integrity & Operational Finance Governance – 10%
  • Oversee inventory finance routines required for decision‑making, including inventory accrual inputs and KPI reporting (accuracy, shrink, turnover).
  • Drive root‑cause resolution of inventory, process, and data discrepancies impacting operational and financial outcomes.
  • Ensure inventory and finance processes are embedded into daily operations.
Cross‑Functional Execution, Standardization & Improvement – 15%
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration between finance, operations, and supply chain teams to execute initiatives and remove barriers.
  • Lead targeted continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle time, and standardize processes across DCC operations.
  • Partner with the peer Director (other site) to ensure consistency in metrics, processes, and escalation across locations.
Controls, Risk, Talent & Enablement – 10%
  • Ensure required controls and governance are embedded in operational processes without disrupting execution, partnering with Controllership and Internal Audit.
  • Support audit readiness for DCC operations and drive timely remediation of findings.
  • Lead and develop team members, by setting priorities aligned to execution needs and building capability in decision‑quality insight, not just reporting.
