We are seeking an experienced
Production Manager
to oversee daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring on-time project delivery, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, hands‑on experience in metal fabrication, and a proven track record in process optimization, automation, and robotic manufacturing integration.
Key Responsibilities Production Operations- Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing activities to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
- Ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and client specifications.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow efficiency and eliminate waste.
- Monitor and improve labor utilization and overall production performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and fabrication teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and establish measurable goals.
- Develop and implement training programs to support workforce growth.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across operations.
- Maintain compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure consistent product quality.
- Develop and refine quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Optimize manpower allocation, equipment usage, and production planning.
- Monitor key production metrics including efficiency, output, and on-time delivery.
- Lead root cause analysis initiatives and implement corrective actions.
- Drive automation initiatives within manufacturing processes.
- Oversee robotic fabrication integration and process enhancements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to transition new designs into production seamlessly.
- Support budget management and cost control initiatives.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and efficiency.
- Identify cost‑saving and productivity improvement opportunities.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
- Mandatory experience in metal fabrication and architectural or custom fabrication products.
- Experience implementing automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with robotic fabrication systems required.
- Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities.
- Expertise in production planning and resource optimization.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality management systems.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to generate and present manufacturing performance reports.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
