Operations Manager, Material Handler

Position Summary:The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including analyzing, reporting, recording, and tracking warehouse activities at the TX plant. This role supports the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in ensuring efficient operations and collaborates closely with the warehouse team to assist with inventory management and control for the TX plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the inventory and warehousing activities effectively and assist Purchaser and Warehouse Supervisor with forecasting material demands stock levels, re-order points and resources capacity ensuring product availability
- Ensure the accurate receiving details and record the accurate receipt information
- Supervise and lead warehouse techs while training techs as needed
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and guide the team to achieve the department goals
- Perform weekly inventory counts and suggest the improvements as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Required
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience
- Business level English proficiency in both oral and written
- Conversational Spanish speaking proficiency
- Basic MS Office proficiency
- Actively listens and communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms, adapting to the audience as needed
- Time management and task prioritization skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Consistently produces accurate, thorough, and well-organized work
- Great problem-solving skills
- Works well with others and is helpful, respectful, and team-oriented
- Continuous learning and application of new knowledge
- Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to change and learn quickly
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to work Tuesday evenings for weekly inventory
- Ability to work onsite (remote work is not an option)
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time the employment begins and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
- Work is primarily performed in an indoor environment, including manufacturing, and warehouse settings
- The role may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, regular exposure to conditions such as hot and cold temperatures, humidity, and confined spaces depending on job duties
- The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to high.
- The work environments may include exposure to food ingredients and cleaning agents
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the employee must be able to:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or move for extended periods
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements to operate food processing, packaging, or sanitation equipment
- Safely handle raw materials, ingredients, finished products, and packaging materials in a production setting
- Lift, transport, maneuver materials, or equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently to access materials, equipment, and work areas
- Maintain visual acuity to read labels, monitors, safety indicators, and production instructions
- Safely opera motorized vehicles or equipment within the facility as needed
- Ability to differentiate between color-coded materials used in sorting, labeling, or quality verification processes
- Communicate effectively using speech, written language, hearing, and visual observation in person, by phone, and via virtual platforms
