Overview

Our client is a growing manufacturer in Lewisville, Texas that makes custom products for companies such as Pepsi, Academy, Walmart, and many more. The hiring position is an Operations Manager with a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring production meets health and safety standards.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.
  • Monitor production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
  • Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
  • Review performance against operating plans and standards; provide reports and interpret results of operations to all levels of management.
  • Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on‑time shipping.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques and principles.
  • Solid knowledge of production management and industrial standards.
  • Evidence of ability to solve complex problems effectively and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage, delegate, and motivate teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
  • Strong decision‑making skills and a results‑driven approach.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • In‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.
