Location: Lewisville, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Overtime as needed
We are seeking a detail-oriented Prepress Technician to support the production of high-quality printed materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing artwork and production-ready files, creating press layouts, verifying print specifications, and supporting digital printing and finishing processes.
The ideal candidate has experience with Adobe Creative Suite, strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a collaborative production setting where quality and accuracy are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare production-ready artwork and files for digital printing and finishing.
- Create and verify die lines based on engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Modify artwork as needed to ensure proper fit and production accuracy.
- Develop press layouts and production files while supporting estimating and production planning.
- Prepare artwork and files for external vendors and verify accuracy before submission.
- Perform quality inspections before, during, and after production runs.
- Support production scheduling and workflow to meet deadlines.
- Assist on the production floor as needed and support cross-functional teams.
- Identify production issues and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, with strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience preparing production-ready artwork for digital printing or prepress operations.
- Understanding of large-format printing, digital press workflows, or print production preferred.
- Basic understanding of color correction and color management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic math calculations.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to train others and assist across multiple production areas.
- Large-format printing and finishing experience.
- Experience with plastics printing or thermal bending.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Manufacturing and production environment supporting digital print and display fabrication.
- Collaborative team focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Overtime available based on production needs.
- Reliable transportation is required.
