BasicJob Functions:
- Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.
- Must load and unloads trucks based on load sheet, working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Participates in the receiving process of all raw materials and warehouse parts as prescribed by the purchasing team.
- Collects and delivers a wide variety of materials, adhering to good safety practices in carrying out duties.
- Stacks materials in storage areas and loads shipments in trailer.
- Assure all bundles of material are accounted for, properly packaged, identified, and staged for loading.
- Process and complete all related paperwork.
- Will perform other material handling duties in other departments as assigned.
- High school Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 2-3 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Prior shipping and/or receiving experience.
- Forklift operation experience handling oversized loads.
- Experience driving a combi-lift
