PositionSummary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment and facility systems in compliance with company, USDA, and FDA standards. This role supports equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, food safety, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Start up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance calls and equipment issues on production lines
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines, pumps, motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems
- Diagnose equipment failures, complete repairs, and conduct basic root cause analysis to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot worn parts and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, valves, cylinders, and actuators as needed
- Utilize mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic PLC troubleshooting skills
- Complete work orders in a timely manner and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Monitor spare parts inventory and report usage and re‑order needs to management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while properly maintaining tools and equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions, injuries, or accidents
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications- Required
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems
- English proficiency in both oral and written
- Actively listens and communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms, adapting to the audience as needed
- Ability to maintain consistent performance in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to work onsite (remote work is not an option)
- Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to change and learn quickly
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis at the time the employment begins and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status. This position is not eligible for employer‑sponsored work authorization.

- Technical or vocational training
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Spanish proficiency in both oral and written
- Experience in cooling tower
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Work is primarily performed in an indoor environment, including manufacturing, kitchen, and warehouse settings
- The role may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, regular exposure to conditions such as hot and cold temperatures, humidity, and confined spaces depending on job duties
- The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to high
