Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain effective working relationships.
Support and promote the company’s safety program and local incident prevention initiatives to reduce risk behaviors.
Implement project-based safety programs aligned with strategic goals.
Contributes to pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
Coaches and teaches duties and processes to more junior team members.
Prepares and delivers safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
Contributes to, and makes recommendations to the development and review of job hazard analyses to identify risks and control measures
Support incident, near-miss, and claim investigations and communications.
Maintain thorough knowledge of company HSE standards, programs, and objectives.
Model HSE goals to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Assist in developing routine HSE project plans and specifications.
Provide input and guidance supporting audits, inspections, evaluations, and incident investigations.
Maintain required reports and documentation to meet corporate and regulatory standards WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.);
Oracle preferred
Professional verbal and written communication skills - Bilingual, Spanish & English Professional interpersonal and customer service skills
Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail
Thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, and supporting administrative practices.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
Effective coaching abilities.
Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees within regional business unit, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others WHAT YOU BRING TO US:4-year related degree and 2 years’ experience and STS-C or 5 years relevant experience and CHST.Ability to spend 80% of working time on active construction sites.
TRAVEL:
Up to 25 % as needed
WORKING CONDITIONS:
General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
