Buff and Polish Reconditioner

As a Buff and Polish Reconditioner, within this role you will perform cosmetic reconditioning on a device following a precise documented process, based on the cosmetic defects identified at the Reconditioning Grading Station. The result is to improve the cosmetic condition of the device to either A-Stock or CPO grade. This role is based at our Lewisville, TX location with a schedule of Monday-Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm

• Identify cosmetic device condition
• Perform reconditioning under prescribed process (depth of scratch, abrasives, pads, pressure, timing) / utilize automated machinery
• Maintain successful reconditioning rate >80%
• Demonstrate grading alignment through quarterly evaluations
• Enter grading data into system database
• Document work performed
• Participate in continuous improvement
• Maintain productive relationships
• Provide process improvement feedback
• Work under immediate supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand work process and flow
• Ability to use computer systems
• Ability to assess cosmetic defects
• Ability to work with pneumatic tools / automated machinery
• Understand display material construction
• Maintain consistent polishing pressure / run automated machinery
• Understand single-unit process flow
• Maintain product segregation
• Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Strong verbal communication skills

• 1+ year manufacturing experience
• 1+ year QA/Inspection experience
• Procedure-compliance experience
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels
