Quality Control Technician

Perform quality inspections of finished electro-mechanical assemblies, incoming materials, and custom components to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.

Direct Hire position

$ 30.00 to $ 35.00 / hour

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

  • Perform quality inspections of finished electro-mechanical assemblies, incoming materials, and custom components to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings while verifying electrical control panels and assemblies meet specifications (UL508A experience preferred).
  • Document quality issues, non-conformances, engineering change requests (ECRs), and maintain quality records, metrics, audits, and inspection logs.
  • Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide quality guidance and training to production personnel.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to troubleshoot quality issues, perform rework when needed, and ensure high-quality production standards.
  • Minimum 3 years of quality control experience and 1+ year of manufacturing assembly experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and control systems, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with quality inspections, documentation, audits, corrective actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement.
  • UL508A, National Electrical Code (NEC), or NFPA 70 experience is preferred.
  • Technical degree (or equivalent experience), proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while lifting up to 25 lbs.
