** Job Overview*
* Diagnostic company seeking motivated  
** Medical Laboratory Scientists
** to join a premier diagnostic lab team in Northwest Dallas. In this role, you will play a vital part in laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity while delivering accurate results for patient care.

** Note on Training:
** Training will be conducted on day shifts. Upon successful completion, you will transition to your assigned permanent shift.

** Key Responsibilities*

** Testing & Analysis:
** Perform specimen handling, processing, testing, and reporting of patient results in strict accordance with approved laboratory procedures.

** Quality Assurance:
** Review and release test results accurately and efficiently; maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing.

+  
** Troubleshooting:
** Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting test performance or result reporting.

+  
** Compliance:
** Follow established laboratory policies when test systems fall outside acceptable performance levels; adhere strictly to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.

* Collaboration:

** Communicate technical or operational issues to senior technologists or supervisors promptly.

** Qualifications & Requirements*

* Education:

** BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related scientific discipline (College transcripts will be required).

* Experience:

** Minimum of  
** 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
** analyzing patient specimens is required.

** Preferred

Skills:

** Experience with  
** LC-MS
** or  
** ICP-MS
** is a strong plus.
