• Read and write Spanish/English, and interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.

The Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk works under direct supervision to provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position assists customers, cleans, fills, and rotates the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli. The role covers two shifts: the morning shift focuses on replenishing product under direction of the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager, while the clerk continues to assist customers and maintain department cleanliness throughout the shift.

The work environment is typical of a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory tasks. Food Handler Card (or equivalent certification) is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
