• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, often up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC and Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker maintains outstanding customer service, processes sales quickly and accurately, operates the cash register, safeguards company assets and ensures a clean and safe work environment. Must be able to bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
