JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a highly motivated Architectural Sales Specialist to join our team and help drive sales growth through effective coordination and communication with architects, contractors, and distributors. The ideal candidate will have a background or education in construction, architecture, or interior design, and experience in building product sales, architectural specification sales, or contractor sales. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the outside sales team, acting as our product line expert, and managing customer relationships using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries from architects, contractors, and distributors.
- Respond promptly to incoming leads and follow up with customers to ensure their needs are being met.
- Prepare and present product specifications and information to potential customers on the company website.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of product samples, quotes, and other sales-related materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales-related activities in our CRM system.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to build relationships with potential customers and stay up to date on industry trends.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Bachelor's degree in construction, architecture, or interior design related field.
- 2+ years of experience in architectural field.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and customer visits.
