** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, process visitors and/or deliveries, and help to control authorized access to buildings, yards, gates, and other restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, loading areas, trailer lots, and parking locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

+ Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or operational disruptions that could impact personnel, property, or cargo flow, while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Customer service experience preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
