Service Plumber

The Service Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings.

• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
• Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
• Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
• Assemble fittings and valves for installation.
• Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance.
• Service and repair domestic plumbing appliances and fixtures.
• Adhere to safety standards and building codes.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience as a plumber, Journeyman required.
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license and plumbing license.
• Ability to work independently and handle complex systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent customer service skills and abilities.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks.
