Installation Associate
Ferguson is looking for an Installation Associate to deliver, install, and remove a variety of appliances in commercial and residential settings. The role requires basic appliance installation skills and a willingness to learn custom installations. Preferred on Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm with overtime as needed. Pay starts at $20 per hour and may increase based on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic appliance installation and be open to training for custom installations.
- Handle and install basic gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators.
- Ensure installed appliances are damage‑free, correctly installed per manufacturer specifications, and fully functional.
- Interact professionally and courteously with builders, designers, and on‑site customers.
- Attend company‑paid installation training seminars and certifications to stay current on product changes.
- Provide driver duties and responsibilities.
- 1+ year experience in appliance delivery & Installation Service preferred.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possession of a DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to lift 70+ pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally with lifting equipment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Mechanical skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
