Job Posting: HD Diesel Technician (Advanced Diagnostics & Engine Build) Diesel Technician Opportunity at Industrial Power, LLC – Fort Worth, TX

Industrial Power LLC is seeking a high-level Diesel Technician for our Fort Worth location. This is a diagnostic-first role for a technician who can accurately troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild Class 5–8 equipment. We are an authorized dealer for Autocar, Cummins Engines, and Allison Transmissions, operating a modern shop with OEM-level tools including Cummins INSITE, Allison DOC, JPRO, and WABCO Toolbox.

What

You’ll Do
  • Diagnose and repair Class 5–8 trucks and specialty equipment
  • Perform advanced diagnostics on Cummins engines (B6.7, L9, ISL, X12, X15, ISX)
  • Perform in-frame and out-of-frame engine rebuilds
  • Diagnose electrical and J1939 CAN network faults
  • Repair Allison transmissions and drivetrain components
  • Complete accurate diagnostics and warranty documentation

Must be able to perform engine rebuilds and advanced diagnostics independently. No entry-level or lube tech applicants

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience with Cummins engines and Allison transmissions
  • Proficiency with Cummins INSITE and diagnostic software
  • Ability to perform engine tear-down, inspection, and rebuild
  • Solid electrical and aftertreatment diagnostic skills
  • Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cummins Certifications
  • ASE (T2–T8)
  • CDL (not required)
  • Vocational or municipal fleet experience
