Head Volleyball Coach

USSPT Facility – 1501 Fairway Dr. #200, Lewisville, TX 75057

(No travel required outside the home gym; no tournament attendance necessary.)

Part-Time (Approximately 8 hours per week, with flexible additional hours for private lessons)

Sundays: 3:00 PM (Clinic)

4:00– 8:00 PM (core practice and clinic time)

Fridays: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Clinic)

Availability for private lessons after 5:00 PM (scheduled based on coach's availability, player demand, and court availability)

$30 per hour for team practices, skills development clinics, and group sessions

$60 per hour for private lessons

Performance-based bonuses for player retention, program growth, and advancement into higher leadership roles as the club expands

USSPT is seeking an experienced, motivated Adult Head Volleyball Coach and Director to lead our adult volleyball programs. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, structured practices and clinics that follow our established 3-month growth plans. The coach will elevate adult players' skills, foster motivation and progression through team levels, and contribute to program promotion. This is a hands‑on coaching position with no tournament travel or external commitments—perfect for a passionate volleyball expert looking for consistent, local work.

• Run and manage team practices and skills development clinics according to the predefined 3‑month growth plans, progressing players through skill levels (fundamentals to advanced techniques).
• Motivate and inspire adult athletes to improve performance, build confidence, and advance within the program.
• Conduct skills assessments during sessions and report on individual player growth/progress.
• Recommend player advancements or level placements based on observed performance and development.
• Adhere strictly to USSPT standards, policies, and safety guidelines.
• Assist in marketing and selling the program by promoting club offerings (clinics, teams, privates, memberships) to current and prospective athletes.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and share social media content highlighting practices, player successes, and program benefits.
• Provide private lessons as scheduled (paid at premium rate).
• Work directly under the Head Pro and Director of Operations to ensure alignment with club goals.

• 10+ years of experience coaching volleyball (adult or competitive levels preferred; experience with adult recreational/developmental programs is a plus).
• Deep knowledge of volleyball techniques, progressions, and skill development for adult players.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills to engage and retain adult athletes.
• Reliable transportation to the USSPT Lewisville facility.
• Passion for adult sports, player growth, and community building through volleyball.
• Ability to work independently while following structured plans and organizational policies.
• Available for the core Sunday and Friday hours, with flexibility for occasional private lesson scheduling.
