LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
$25 Per Hour
6a-3p + Overtime
Our client in Lewisville is seeking an experienced candidate to schedule and coordinate warehouse transportation, freight, transfers, and shipment activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Schedule company drivers for deliveries and material transfers
- Obtain freight quotes from approved carriers
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments
- Track shipments and resolve freight related issues
- Coordinate finished panes shipments
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules
- 3+ Years of experience in warehouse operations,logistics, transportation coordinationor related field
- Experience coordinating freight shipments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Excellent communication skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics a plus
