Warehouse Lead (D Shift)
The Smart Factory warehouse team at Ericsson’s established U.S. Production Site in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead (D Shift) to serve as the primary point of support for warehouse operations. The role involves working across multiple software platforms to support material receipt, material preparation, and shipping of finished goods. The Warehouse D Shift Lead oversees and optimizes the material preparation areas and packing process, leads a team of warehouse operators, maintains quality standards, and drives daily targets.
This is an overnight shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and alternating every other Saturday.
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily targets and maintain productivity
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment
- Oversee the full warehouse process, from material preparation and goods issuance through to final packaging and labeling
- Ensure adherence to established warehouse procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with Warehouse Specialists to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels across warehouse storage locations
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (internal certification required)
- Maintain the 5S program to keep all working areas clean and support lean manufacturing goals
- Enforce safety regulations, conduct regular safety checks, and promptly address potential hazards
- Track KPIs and generate daily and weekly performance reports covering productivity and accuracy metrics
- Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and other relevant software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for 8–10 hours per shift, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification may be required depending on specific job duties
Compensation is competitive and may include an annual bonus based on performance and company objectives. Ericsson offers health benefits, including three medical plan options and a dental plan. The company contributes towards medical and dental premiums for the employee and eligible dependents. Financial security is supported through a U.S. 401(k) plan with company contributions and matching, as well as basic life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, disability coverage, and a Stock Purchase Plan option.
Paid time off includes a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Paid maternity leave is up to 16 weeks and parental or adoption leave is 6 weeks at 100% pay.
